Our team at Dental at the Met is committed to keeping you safe amid the coronavirus pandemic. For this reason, we have been taking extra precautions to ensure you and our team members stay healthy.
Dental at the Met has always followed health and safety guidelines, but we are going above and beyond at this time. We want to exceed these guidelines to protect you and our team.
If you have any questions about our COVID-19 safety measures, feel free to contact our team. We want to help you feel comfortable coming to the dentist during this time.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Before you come to the office for your appointment, you can complete your patient forms digitally.
Completing your forms digitally helps in a couple of ways. First, you will touch fewer surfaces while in the office. You won’t have to touch pens and clipboards if your paperwork is completed ahead of time. Also, you will minimize the amount of time you are spending in the office.
When you park in front of our building, we will cover the cost of parking for you. You will call us when you arrive. We will ensure there are not too many people in the building at once.
Keep in mind that you cannot bring anyone else to your appointment. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.
When you come into the office, you will be given some hand sanitizer. Your temperature will be taken. Our staff members’ temperatures are taken several times throughout the day too. You will also be given any forms you didn’t complete digitally.
You will then rinse your mouth with hydrogen peroxide twice. This can help to eliminate any viruses that may be in your mouth.
Our team will be wearing additional protective gear, which includes face shields, level 3 masks, KN95 masks, N95 masks, respirators, caps, and full-body gowns.
At your appointment, you will be separated from other patients. Appointment times are also staggered to limit the number of people in the office at one time. This also gives us time to clean the office between patients.
Our surfaces are disinfected several times throughout the day. Cashless payment options are preferred at checkout. Unfortunately, we can’t walk you out after your appointment at this time. We look forward to doing this again soon, though!
If you have any additional questions or concerns, or if you would like to schedule an appointment, please contact our team today.
