Top 4 ways to be ready for your next dental visit

Top 4 ways to be ready for your next dental visit

October 22, 2020

Our team at Dental at the Met strongly believe that everyone who enters our office should feel relaxed. Our mission is to create a welcoming and comfortable space where our clients can kick up their feet and let us do all the work.

But what can you do to better prepare for your next dental visit? Read below and find out ways that will help improve your overall experience with us and leave you smiling with confidence!

Brush your teeth and floss

Although this may seem redundant, flossing your teeth and brushing will help our staff of hygiene superheros tackle your visit quickly. We do of course encourage daily brushing and flossing, but a freshly cleaned smile can streamline your visit with us. Leaving you more time to do the things you love… like basking in the sunshine instead of sitting in a dental chair!

Arrive Early

Another critical tool at your disposal is your arrival at our clinic. We strongly encourage all our clients to arrive early before their scheduled time as to avoid any undue delay in treatment. This will allow our clients a few extra minutes to take advantage of our relaxing waiting area. Those who enter late are usually frazzled and anxious and that may set you up for a bad experience with us. So please arrive early and take a few minutes to relax and breathe before your appointment.

Have payment information ready

This goes hand in hand with arriving early. We would love to be able to get all your important information before we start your visit so that our amazing staff are ready to devote their time to you. Arriving early will allow for sufficient time to get your health intake and billing sorted out and give you time to enjoy our space. Having your payment information ready will also allow our front staff to make sure you are ready to show the world your new clean smile after your visit. And don’t forget to take advantage of our parking so you aren’t stressed about finding a place to park either!

Be honest about any dental anxieties

In order for us to help you have a relaxing and comfortable experience, honesty is the best policy! We understand that not everyone enjoys their dental visits, that’s why telling our staff about your anxieties will allow us to serve you better. It will also allow us to tailor your visit specifically for you. Our team will also consider your fears when determining the best course of treatment, once again, leaving you smiling with confidence!

We here at Dental at the Met would love to see you and are always willing to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to call our clinic and we’d be happy to set up any dental visits for you and your family!
