Dr. Rahim Shivji was born in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and moved to Calgary at a young age. He completed his BSc. in Biological Sciences at the University of Calgary and went on to the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2010. Dr. Shivji’s scope of practice spans all areas of general dentistry. He has a keen interest in dental surgery, including extractions, bone grafts, dental implant placement and restorations, and Invisalign orthodontic treatments. He received a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantology in San Francisco in 2015 and has consistently been an Invisalign Premier Provider since 2014. Dr. Shivji enjoys watching anime and pretending that his Japanese is better than it actually is. He often cracks a few of his own original jokes during procedures. Dr. Shivji has volunteered with various organizations locally and abroad, including a trip to Tajikistan in 2015 to do dental work and train local dentists. Dr. Shivji is an avid reader, enjoys video games, and spends time at home with his wife and two children. He is truly passionate about quality, patient-focused dentistry, and providing friendly dental care!

Dr. Simran Sandhu was born and raised in Calgary and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Saskatchewan in 2008, where she received the Academy of General Dentistry award. She strives to make each and every patient feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Sandhu practices dentistry in all areas of general dentistry, ranging from oral surgeries, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, and metal-free cosmetic dentistry. Favourite procedures of hers include oral surgery, neuromodulator treatments for clenching and grinding, and composite and ceramic restorations. Alleviating dental anxiety and providing gentle dental care based on trust and clear communication is of utmost importance to Dr. Sandhu. She will take the time to build a care plan individually tailored to your unique needs. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Sandhu has travelled extensively and is always planning her next trip. She has provided dental care in remote communities in Nunavut and has volunteered locally with CUPS and abroad in Brazil and Ecuador. In her spare time, Dr. Sandhu enjoys staying active, travelling, being with family and friends, and spending time with her fur baby, Rocco!

Dr. Jade Park was born in Red Deer, Alberta, and grew up between Edmonton and Calgary.  For a change of scenery, she left to pursue her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Manitoba!  Though she enjoyed her time in Winnipeg, she decided her heart was in Alberta and came back to practice in Calgary. Dr. Park’s goal is to make dental visits an approachable and comfortable experience for everyone.  Patient education is highly important to Dr. Park, and she hopes to help patients become as passionate about their oral health as the providers who give them their care! In her spare time, Dr. Park likes to spend time with friends and family in various activities, from hikes in the mountains during the summer to struggling with cross-country skiing in the winter.  Dr. Park also has a passion for good food and finding the best places to eat in Calgary.  Please feel free to share your favourite hiking trail or restaurant during your visit!

As an Associate Dentist, she is committed to delivering compassionate and high-quality dental care to our diverse community. With a keen eye for detail and a gentle touch, Dr. Synott is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime. She graduated from James Cook University in Cairns, Australia, and has garnered extensive experience in various aspects of general dentistry, from pediatrics to anterior restorative procedures.
