Crowns & Bridges

A crown is like a “helmet” for your tooth. Crowns are used when a tooth is cracked, severely decayed, or has had a root canal, to protect it and make it strong again. Crowns restore the shape, size, strength, and appearance of a damaged tooth. A dental bridge is a solution to replace one or more missing teeth.

It “bridges” the gap left by the missing tooth by using the surrounding teeth for support. Bridges are made up of two or more crowns on the teeth on either side of a gap, with a false tooth (pontic) in between.
